Delhi is on high alert after the Delhi Police received a call alleging the presence of a bomb at Khan Market. The police rushed to the spot with a bomb squad and sniffer dogs. The call came in early in the morning today but nothing suspicious has been found.

The Tuglaq Road Police Station received the call at around 6:05 A.M. One of the officers said, “A male voice from the other end said a bomb has been planted in Khan Market and hung up immediately after.”
The bomb scare has been taken seriously and has not been declared a hoax. The search is still ongoing as the officials search every part of the market. The shopkeepers and staff of the Khan Market Metro Station have been alerted regarding the threat. A news channel reported the unidentified man who called the police said the bomb would be detonated at 4 P.M., in the evening.
The officer on the case has explained the caller is being tracked down but the officials are yet to get valuable information.
